Disability, Caste and Intersectionality: Panel Discussion
The Centre for Law and Policy Research invites you to a panel discussion on the Disability, Caste and Intersectionality. Through this discussion we want to explore the importance of the intersections of disability and caste, addressing the fulfillment of basic social rights of employment, education, housing & health for the most vulnerable.
This Panel explores the relationship between disability and caste with a view towards addressing the particular forms of discrimination faced by those who live at its intersection. Through an approach rooted in intersectionality, the panel addresses the barriers in the fulfilment of rights in access to justice, employment, education housing & health as well as the aggravated forms of discrimination unaccounted for in law.
We invite you to attend this meeting and be part of this critical discussion.
