CLPR is organising its flagship conference TRANSFORM: 4th International Conference on Transgender Rights & the Law on Dec. 5th & 6th, 2020. 

The TransForm conference brings together activists, academics, lawyers, policymakers, students and civil society members.

With the COVID pandemic amplifying existing inequalities and barriers that transgender persons face in access to justice, healthcare, housing, food security and protection of rights, we need to re-evaluate what it means to be equal. In this conference, we aim to discuss the specific vulnerabilities of the trans community in India and globally, both during and post the pandemic, and chart ways to address them.

When: 5th & 6th December 2020 

Where: Bangalore International Center (New Building) 

Registration:  

• This conference is free and open to everyone to attend. However, due to the pandemic, and existing public gathering regulations, we will have limited physical participation and hence online registration is required for all those who wish to attend.
• Free Rt-PCR tests will be provided before the event on 1st December 2020 in association with the local authorities for those who are registered to attend the conference and are requested to get the test done.
