Sixth Anniversary of NALSA v. UOI Judgement
On the sixth anniversary of the historic NALSA judgement, the CLPR team has translated the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2019 into Kannada for the benefit of the people from Karnataka. Read more
Also, CLPR has filed an intervention application before the Karnataka High Court in the wake of the current crisis created by lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic. Recently the Karnataka High Court passed orders directing the State government to provide relief measures to marginalized communities including transgenders, Devadasis, sex workers and, persons dependent on begging.
