The Centre for Law and Policy Research (CLPR) is a not-for-profit trust dedicated to making the Constitution work for everyone through law and policy research, social and governance interventions, and strategic impact litigation. Our primary focus is on addressing discrimination at the intersections of caste, gender, disability, and other minority groups.

 

About the Position and Role:

The Program Manager will report to the Project Director and the Executive Director and handle operational and administrative functions for the Constitution Defenders Fellowship.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Project Planning and Implementation
  • Undertake day-to-day management of the CLPR programs to ensure smooth implementation
  • Report regularly to management on program implementation
  • Manage project budgets
  • Ensure timely drafting of high-quality project narrative and financial reports to document project achievements and challenges
  • Actively participate in all aspects of planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation of programs
  1. Capacity Building, Advocacy and Partnerships
  • Support the organization of workshops, seminars and other CLPR activities
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, CSOs, NGOs, governments and donors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

 

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in handling programs in NGOs
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Event management skills
  • Budget management experience is desirable
  • Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation will be a plus

 

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Law (preferred) or social sciences from a recognized University
  • Master’s degree in Law or social sciences preferred

 

Remuneration

Pay will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
