About the Constitution Defenders Fellowship:

People from marginalised communities face additional challenges in accessing justice, whether through a lack of knowledge or through a lack of access to trained lawyers who are able to help them navigate the legal system and assist them in the full enjoyment of their rights.

The Constitution Defenders Fellowship aims to bridge this gap in access to justice by offering training to early and mid-career lawyers, so that they are better able to render aid to their communities.
