Tanya Kini

Alumni

Tanya Kini graduated with a Master of Arts in International Affairs in March 2021 from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, Economics and Political Science from St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Her previous experience includes working in communications with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and in the global health sector in Geneva. She also has years of experience working in sport communication and public relations in India.

Her research interests lie in the intersection of sport, politics, gender, and sexuality with a specific focus on LGBTQI+ rights and expression in sport.
