Professor Sudhir Krishnaswamy has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of National Law School of India University, Bangalore. His research focus is on constitutional law and politics and the empirical analysis of the legal system. He is a Founder and Trustee of the Centre for Law and Policy Research, Bangalore.

Laila Ollapally has been a lawyer for over three decades and a mediator for the last 12 years. She is the founder of CAMP Arbitration and Mediation Practice Pvt. Ltd, a pioneering private mediation initiative that promotes mediation as a form of alternative dispute resolution in India. She is the Founding Coordinator of the Bangalore Mediation Centre (BMC), acclaimed as one of the most successful Court – Annexed Mediation programs in the country. As part of her mission to create a better understanding of collaborative dispute resolution in general and mediation in particular, she extensively educates Judges, lawyers and business leaders on Mediation and Negotiation. Laila has undergone much training in mediation herself having spent much time studying mediation at institutions such as Stanford Law School, Harvard Law School and Pepperdine School of Law. She is on the Mediation Panel of several international mediation organizations such as Singapore International Mediation Centre, Japan International Mediation Centre and ADR Centre, Rome. She is certified as a mediator by the International Mediation Institute, Netherlands.

Murali is a dual qualified (English solicitor and Indian advocate) with over 2 decades of experience in advising on international transactions in a wide variety of sectors. He was previously a senior equity partner at Arnold & Porter and then Ashurst in London and subsequently a senior partner at Khaitan & Co. He joined Cipla in 2013 as its first Global General Counsel and subsequently was Executive Director and Global General Counsel at Glenmark. He is currently Principal at amicus where he provides legal and policy advice.

Alok Prasanna Kumar​ the moderator of this panel​ is an advocate based in Bengaluru and is Senior Resident Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. He has previously worked at the Supreme Court of India and writes a regular column on law and society in the journal Economic and Political Weekly.
