On 14 September 2024, CLPR organised a national consultation on its draft resource book, ‘Transforming Courts: Court Decisions on Transgender Rights in India’ at Bangalore International Centre, Indiranagar. The consultation featured prominent transgender rights activists, lawyers, doctors, and members of the community who discussed constitutional cases, marriage rights, employment, self-determination, criminal laws, and political participation for transgender persons in India.
