Janaagraha | Governing Cities: Reflections from South Africa and India

On Monday 29th April, CLPR’s Sudhir Krishnaswamy and Mathew Idiculla will discuss the Greater Bengaluru Governance Bill at the Governing Cities consultation. The consultation is organised by Janaagraha.

Andrew Boraine, CEO of the Western Cape Economic Development Partnership (EDP), will also speak. His session is titled “Lessons from South Africa”. He has been involved in South Africa’s local government, urban and economic development and transition processes for the past 41 years. The EDP is an independent not-for-profit company. It aims to “improve the performance of the Cape Town and Western Cape socio-economic development system”.
