The Centre for Internet and Society and the Foundation for Media Professionals are organising a discussion on ‘Resisting Internet Censorship: Strategies for Furthering Freedom of Expression in India‘ on April 21, 2012 from 14:00 to 18:00 at the Bangalore International Centre, TERI Complex, Domlur Stage II. Sudhir Krishnaswamy from CLPR is participating in the talk.
The discussion is organised in response to the introduction of a motion in the Rajya Sabha by the Member of Parliament P. Rajeev calling for the Internet censorship law passed last year (“Intermediary Guidelines Rules”) to be annulled.
