Call for Communications Associate | CLPR’s National Constitution Quiz (3-Month Engagement)

The Centre for Law and Policy Research, Bangalore (CLPR) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making the Constitution work for everyone through law and policy research, social and governance interventions, and strategic impact litigation.

 

We are seeking a Communications Associate for a short-term (3 months) role to lead the public outreach and event management for CLPR’s national-level quiz competition on the Indian Constitution. This event spans 4 cities, involves partnerships with 4  universities, and engages students nationwide. The position is based in CLPR’s Bangalore office, which will serve as the base of operations, and will involve approximately one month of travel to different cities for event execution. The Communications Associate will report to CLPR’s Senior Research Associate, who is overall in charge of the event.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute event planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with university partners, vendors, and all stakeholders.
  • Drive public outreach initiatives to maximize event participation and visibility.

 

Desired Skills/Requirements:

  • Open to candidates from any educational background.
  • Prior experience in communications, particularly in public education event (preferred)
  • Background in constitutional studies (preferred)
  • Strong interest and passion in curating and executing educational public outreach events.
  • Ability to effectively work and collaborate with student groups and faculty.
