LSE Legal Aid Conference 2020
The LSE Legal Aid Conference 2020 is a flagship event of- The LSE Pro Bono Division. The main aim of the conference is to create a discourse on access to justice and legal aid by bringing to you two panels focused on South Asian countries such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. The conference aims to evaluate the problems associated with the free provision of legal aid within an international and domestic framework by discussing and debating the rights of sex workers, LGBTQ+ rights, and domestic abuse survivors!
Jayna Kothari, Executive Director, Center for Law and Policy Research(CLPR) is one of the panelists and she will be speaking on issues of LGBTQ+ rights.
