Abhineet Maurya

Abhineet holds a B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law University, Delhi (2025), and previously worked as a Criminal Justice Student Fellow at The Square Circle Clinic (formerly Project 39A). His research is primarily in legal and political philosophy and socio-legal studies

He is interested in how social, political, and legal institutions shape human agency, and how these institutions can be engaged to advance human dignity and substantive equality. He is drawn to CLPR’s engagement with the institutions that shape political and legal life, and hopes to contribute research that deepens understanding of how these institutions function in practice and identifies ways they can be meaningfully improved.
