Call for Litigation Intern

September 18, 2025

The Centre for Law and Policy Research (CLPR) is a not-for-profit trust dedicated to making the Constitution work for everyone through law and policy research, social and governance interventions, and strategic impact litigation. Our primary focus is on addressing discrimination at the intersections of caste, gender, disability, and other minority groups.

CLPR engages in strategic impact litigation and legal aid work for the constitutional rights of persons with disabilities, women, gender and sexual minorities, Dalit and Adivasi persons, and other vulnerable groups. We have an opening for one long-term intern (minimum 5-week commitment) to support the litigation team from mid-October 2025 onwards.

The work includes providing CLPR advocates research and drafting support on public interest and strategic litigation in the Supreme Court and High courts across India.  This internship is in-person based out of our Delhi office. The role offers flexibility for remote work one to two days a week on non-court days.

Students in their third year and above in the 5-year and the second year and above of the 3-year LLB program may apply. Candidates with a non-law degree but substantial legal research experience will also be considered.
