A CLPR Session at Ranga Shankara: ‘Was India’s Independence Movement Solely About Freedom from the British?’
As part of Ranga Shankara’s public outreach programme—RS Connect— CLPR has collaborated with Ranga Shankara to hold a series of conversations on Indian law. On 6 August we will hold the second public talk in this series. Our Senior Associate, Vineeth Krishna will discuss how our freedom movement was much more than just a call for the British to leave India. The session will also demonstrate how the Indian Constitution — specifically the Fundamental Rights chapter — was forged in the crucible of India’s Independence Movement.
Time 05:30PM - 06:30PM
