J. Mandakini graduated with a B.A., LL.B (Hons.) from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi in 2015. She worked at a corporate law firm in Mumbai for 2 years thereafter.

Mandakini’s research interests include constitutional law, gender rights, and civil rights.
